ESWT scan

Extra-Corporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) is a non-invasive procedure used to treat a number of painful musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

ESWT uses ultrasound soundwaves to stimulate healing of problematic tissue.

ESWT is particularly appropriate in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, calcific tendonitis of the shoulder and achilles tendinosis to name just a few.

ESWT examinations take approximately 30 minutes.
