Benson Radiology has introduced the widest availability of breast tomosynthesis in South Australia.
Tomosynthesis, or 3D mammography acquires images of the breast from different angles to allow for 3D digital reconstruction of the breast.
Our three tomosynthesis units are at our Salisbury, Melbourne Street and Western Hospital branches. This service adds to our complete breast imaging solution and complements existing services such as traditional mammography, breast MRI and Australia’s first and only FDA-approved automated breast ultrasound unit.
