Dr Amaran Parasuramar joined Benson Radiology in September 2023.
He completed his radiology training throughout South Australia including at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Lyell McEwin Hospital.
He currently holds the position of Staff Specialist at The Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He is the designated radiologist for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) MDT at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He also regularly contributes to the Haematology-Oncology MDT.
He performs a broad range of interventional procedures with a particular interest in CT intervention (including deep organ biopsies, cervical injections, medial branch blocks, RFA)
Dr. Parasuramar has an interest in advanced MRI imaging techniques, including endolymphatic hydrops, spectroscopy and perfusion imaging, CSF flow studies, and vessel wall imaging.
