Dr Amaran Parasuramar joined Benson Radiology in September 2023.
He completed his radiology training across South Australia, including at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Lyell McEwin Hospital.
He currently holds a Staff Specialist position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He is the lead radiologist for the Head and Neck MDT at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He is also the lead radiologist for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) MDT at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He performs a broad range of interventional procedures, with a particular interest in CT-guided intervention, including deep organ biopsies, cervical injections, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation.
He has an interest in advanced MRI techniques, including endolymphatic hydrops imaging, spectroscopy, perfusion imaging, CSF flow studies, and vessel wall imaging.
