Rahul Solanki
MBBS, FRACP
Dr. Rahul Solanki is a dual-trained specialist in medical oncology and nuclear medicine.
He completed his medical oncology and nuclear medicine advanced training at Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre.
He received his Fellowship in Medical Oncology in 2022 and in Nuclear Medicine in 2023 from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
Dr Solanki has been actively involved in clinical research trials and continues to contribute to medical student education through his role at the University of Adelaide.
He also currently holds a Medical Oncology Research Fellow as well as a Medical Oncologist position at the ICON Cancer Centre.
Dr Solanki’s areas of interest include:
- Oncological and non-oncological PET/CT
- Theranostics aspect of nuclear medicine in treating benign and malignant thyroid disease and malignancies including prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumours
- General nuclear medicine studies
