Yang Du

Dr Yang Timothy Du obtained his MBBS in 2012 and completed specialist physician training in nuclear medicine and endocrinology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and Flinders Medical Centre (FMC), receiving his Fellowship from the RACP in 2020.
He is a member of numerous professional societies including the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine. Dr Du also currently hold the position of Staff Specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Dr Du has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals including Circulation and Diabetes Care. He continues to be involved in clinical trials and medical teaching and training as an associate clinical lecturer at The University of Adelaide.
Dr Du is also a Level B ANZCTCA accredited CTCA reporting radiologist.
Dr Du’s areas of interest include:
- PET/CT
- therapeutic nuclear medicine in thyroid disease and oncology
- nuclear endocrinology
- DEXA and bone density
