Benson Radiology awarded contract at Noarlunga Hospital

One of the nation’s largest private imaging providers, Benson Radiology, has been awarded the contract to deliver medical imaging services at Noarlunga Hospital.
The announcement of the new provider follows a competitive tender process undertaken by SA Health.
Benson Radiology Chief Executive Officer, Tamsyn Alley was delighted by the announcement.
“This is very exciting for our Practice and it has our full commitment,” Ms Alley said.
“Being entrusted to deliver the medical imaging service at Noarlunga Hospital is a commitment we take very seriously”.
“We have a strong track record and well-deserved reputation for delivering high quality radiology services in the southern suburbs, particularly from our nearby Morphett Vale and Christies Beach sites.”
“And now, we look forward to continuing to expand that service in the region,” Ms Alley said.
Employing more than 800 staff, Benson Radiology’s Noarlunga Hospital clinic will become its 27th across South Australia.
Benson Radiology Managing Partner, Dr Steve Knox said the Practice was committed to meeting the needs of both patients and clinicians at Noarlunga Hospital.
“Benson Radiology has significant experience in the delivery of imaging services in public hospital environments,” Dr Knox said.
“For almost four decades, we have provided a 24-hour, 7 day a week service at large public sites such as Modbury Hospital and Mount Gambier Hospital.”
“This experience gives us great confidence in our ability to deliver a high-quality service.”
Southern Adelaide Local Health Network’s Chief Operating Officer, Robin Moore, said SALHN was looking forward to Benson Radiology services commencing at Noarlunga Hospital shortly.
“We are looking forward to working with Benson Radiology to continue the delivery of high-quality care to the communities we serve, and to building our relationship”, Mr Moore said.
Benson Radiology will commence services at Noarlunga Hospital from 5pm, 22 December.
