Benson Radiology Barossa expansion

Health services in the Barossa Valley will soon be boosted with the development of a comprehensive medical imaging clinic in Nuriootpa.

Benson Radiology’s new clinic at 13 Gawler Street is due to open in March 2019 and will provide a range of services not previously available locally to residents of the Barossa Valley.

Benson Radiology Managing Partner Dr Dale Allison said the Practice was excited about its new clinic and its role in providing vital services to the region.

“This is not only a significant initiative for our Practice, but also an important one for the region,” Dr Allison said.

“Our Practice has enjoyed a proud and longstanding history of working closely with the Barossa Valley’s medical practitioners.”

“We employ many local staff and feel as though we know the region and the local community.”

“And now, we’re delighted to be able to deliver a comprehensive medical imaging service to those loyal clinicians and their patients.”

The clinic will relieve the need for patients to travel to Gawler for higher end imaging studies, such as CT examinations.

CT, ultrasound, x‑ray and dental imaging will soon be available from Nuriootpa, five days a week.

A radiologist will also be onsite, allowing for a range of interventional procedures and guided injections.

“Offering such a comprehensive service in the region means that doctors and patients can know, with absolute confidence, that vital examinations will be locally available five days a week,” Dr Allison said.
