Benson Radiology expands 3D mammography to the southern suburbs
6 November 2017
Patients in the southern suburbs will now have access to latest breast imaging technology.
Already with the widest availability of breast tomosynthesis in South Australia, Benson Radiology has now further expanded its 3D mammography services to its Morphett Vale branch.
Tomosynthesis, or 3D mammography acquires images of the breast from different angles to allow for 3D digital reconstruction of the breast.
Our four tomosynthesis units are at Salisbury, North Adelaide, Western Hospital and now Morphett Vale. This service adds to our complete breast imaging solution and complements existing services such as traditional mammography, breast MRI and Australia’s first and only FDA-approved automated breast ultrasound unit.
