Bone mineral densitometry now available in the Barossa

Bone mineral densitometry is now available at Benson Radiology’s Nuriootpa clinic.

The state-of-the-art GE Lunar Prodigy Bone Densitometer provides accurate and reproducible measurement of bone mineral density and will be accommodating patients from June 2020. 

Reports are standardised across the Practice and include an assessment of the patient’s results, relative risk of fracture and an explanation of the information contained within the report. Our reports will also include the standardised ​‘FRAX’ assessment of fracture risk using the femoral neck BMD.
