Dr Chris Astill becomes Practice Partner

We’re delighted to announce Benson Radiology’s newest Practice Partner, Dr Chris Astill.

Dr Astill joined the Practice in January 2022, having completed his training across South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland.

In 2018, he was awarded the HR Sear Prize for best overall candidate in the FRANZCR part 2 examinations.

Dr Astill underwent further fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, UK, with a special interest in cardiac MRI, ischaemic heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.

Currently, Dr Astill holds a staff specialist position at Flinders Medical Centre and serves as a reviewer for the thoracic section of the Journal of the Royal College of Radiologists, Clinical Radiology. Additionally, he is a Level A ANZCTCA accredited CTCA reporting radiologist.
