MRI scanner installed at North Eastern Community Hospital

With the aid of some careful manoeuvring, our new Siemens MRI scanner is safely in place at North Eastern Community Hospital. After a 2 hour, centimetre-perfect installation process, Benson Radiology is happy to report that the MRI machine has found its home within the newly constructed radiology department. 

Weighing in at 4 tonnes, the MRI scanner will soon provide a vital healthcare service to the people of the north-eastern suburbs. With the addition of MRI, our NECH clinic will continue to offer a range of medical imaging services including ultrasound, x‑ray, bone density, mammography and CT. 

Benson Radiology’s newly constructed department at the hospital in on track to open in mid-April.
